everyone
has the wrong idea about jealousy. People think it is healthy, and tell themselves all these weird things, these “I am better than her in ___, ___, and ____ ways, though!!”, these strange things.
People go to odd extents, try and control their partner, violate their partner’s privacy, all of these strange and tiring efforts… just to avoid feeling that jealousy jealousy jealousy.
Some people try to invoke it, some encourage it….
I say you are all so wrong! jealousy is the very opposite of love. Jealousy is wanting another’s life, or life itself to revolve around you and your desires and needs and wishes. Jealousy is the lack of concern for your partner’s heart, your partner’s needs, his or her life and relationships with others. All of that pushes true love, true caring and compassion far far away.
I am not immune to jealousy’s sticky throes either… but I try and remember these things when I feel its burning touch. MORE ON THIS LATER.

NEXT QUARTER (since i cant handle planning a whole year)
NEXT QUARTER THINGS:
1. Bild 1 (biology), Muir 50 (writing class), Physics 1c + 1c Lab….. GET ALL A’S!!!!
2. Continue MEC (that muir environmental corps, the enviro club i president) BADASSERY! Get more people inspired and involved! Do more volunteering and fundraising!
3. Continue volunteering at Project Wildlife at least once a week!
4. Find a veterinary clinic to volunteer in at least once a week!
5. Go to every single one of my surf lessons (even if they are at 9 am on a saturday!)
6. Find a horse to lease once a week and get back into horseback riding!
7. keep running and keep gymming and keep active!!!!! only takes an hour a day!
8. read more thich nhat hahn, keep a peaceful soul, and practice loving :)
STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR US CITIZENS
Anyone and everyone who cares about their very basic rights need to read this or google “national defense authorization act” …. this bill which will be decided on NOVEMBER 5TH, would allow the military to arrest and detain US citizens(on US soil) indefinitely, without trial. How are they doing this?
